Kevin Surace
Chairman
Mr Surace, a noted speaker and writer on climate change and the built environment, is on a mission to significantly reduce the use of fossil fuels and their effect on the environment. Mr. Surace brings 28 years of high tech experience including public and private companies including semiconductors, networking, and cleantech. Mr. Surace is currently CEO of the leading cleantech building materials company Serious Materials, operating 3 plants delivering products to over 50,000 projects.
Wendy Arienzo
Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Wendy Arienzo's vision for Array Converter is to make Inverter-Less power conversion the preferred choice for commercial and utility scale Photovoltaic installations. She leads the company in its mission to proliferate sustainable and safe Photovoltaic energy generation through delivery of consistently high performance ratios and measurable reductions in panel, balance of system, and operating costs.
Wendy is a seasoned professional in the semiconductor industry. She began her 30 year long career in Florence, Italy developing casting techniques for polycrystalline silicon solar cells. She has gone on to hold executive and technical management positions at IBM, Philips and NXP Semiconductors where she was responsible for product development as well as high volume IC manufacturing. Wendy holds a combined BS/MS from Brown University in materials science engineering and a Ph.D. from Stanford University in the same field. She is a noted speaker on PV and directions in the high tech industry. Her contributions have been recognized by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Center for Economic Growth and the YWCA of Poughkeepsie.
Kent Kernahan
President
Mr. Kernahan has 30 years of design engineering and technology management experience. He is a veteran of three technology startup companies, and has held senior positions at FyreStorm, Cadence Design Systems, and Air Communications. Over 30 Patents worldwide have been granted to Mr. Kernahan in the areas of power conversion, energy management, control systems, and communications.
Dr. Sorin Spanoche
VP Engineering
Dr. Spanoche has 18 years of development experience in power semiconductors, communications systems, and electronic design automation, ranging from architecture to device physics. Dr. Spanoche most recently was a Fellow and senior architect at FyreStorm, an innovator in the development of digital power conversion solutions. He holds three patents, and has instructed over 1,000 engineering students in his role as a professor of engineering.
Mika Nuotio
VP Marketing & Business Development
Mr. Nuotio has 20 years of international technology marketing and business development experience in the fields of power electronics, opto electronics, wireless communication and telecom systems ranging from consumer electronics to telecom infrastructure. He has held senior positions at multinational corporations; Ericsson, Infineon, Cadence Design Systems, and MagnaChip as well as two startup companies Morphics Technology and IC Media.
Steve Johnson
VP Operations
Mr. Johnson is a seasoned international operations executive with a more than 25 year track record of successfully building environmentally compliant global supply chains. Mr. Johnson has worked in senior roles with start ups and Fortune 500 companies including - Conner Peripherals, AST Computers, Brocade Communications, Ampex, SanDisk, the boutique supply chain firm - The Eclipse Group, Acer, the pioneer of Ultra Mobile Personal Computers - OQO and the pioneer of connected navigation devices - Dash Navigation.
